Erin Daugherty LMT 12162 Massage Therapist
Erin has been practicing massage therapy since 2001, graduating from the International Professional School of Bodywork in Pacific Beach, Ca., then taking advanced training at the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in Las Vegas, NV. Later on, she worked as an Assistant Teacher at NSMT in the following modalities: Structural Integration, Acupressure, Craniosacral Therapy, and Anatomy. She also worked at the Mandara Spa at the Paris Hotel and at the Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian Hotel as well as starting her specialty training in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. In 2003 she relocated to Costa Rica, where she ran her own private practice and out-call massage business. Enjoying the sunshine, surfing and culture, Erin spent over a year in Central America and then landed in Portland, Oregon in 2005. She continued her specialty training in Ashiatsu and Craniosacral Therapy while working at Kanani Pearl Spa and receiving an invaluable education from Maka'ala Yates in Mana Lomi Hawaiian Healing Massage. In 2009 Erin moved to Ashland, Oregon and began working for Waterstone Spa at the Ashland Springs Hotel as well as starting up Farm to Fork Events with her partner Matthew Domingo. Farm to Fork Events is a summer farm dinner series whose mission is to support and celebrate local farmers and winemakers throughout the state of Oregon.
Constantly educating herself in the field of massage therapy, Erin never gets uninspired in her work and truly loves and feels blessed to have chosen this career path.
